Andrew Michelmore is Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of Minmetals Resources Limited (MMR), a global resources company that mines, explores and develops base metal projects in Australia and around the world. Mr. Michelmore joined MMG after his tenure as CEO of Zinifex Limited and then OZ Minerals Limited. Mr. Michelmore has more than 28 years’ experience in the metals and mining industry, including 12 years at WMC Resources Limited, where he was the Chief Executive Officer. He holds a First Class Honours degree in Engineering (Chemical) from the University of Melbourne and a Master of Arts in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Oxford University.
